Enjoy the Ride….

Speaking of awesome Z commercials, there have been a couple other really cool ones over the years.  Yeah we all know the cheesy “Black Gold” one (the pinnacle of ’80’s “culture”) – but these 2 are still my personal favorites one of all time.

and of course, one of the greatest commercials of all time…car related or not

So I’m Having this Dream, I’m in a Turbo Z…..

The other day we get an email from a nice guy down in Alabama looking for some Bride seats.  We exchange emails a few times, and it turns out he has a Z32 Twin Turbo.  We got to talking, and I asked for some pics of the car, since it’s not too often that you see a Z32 that would be worthy of such a seat, but this one surely is!  This is one clean looking car.  Just has your basic bolt on stuff for now, but man, what a ride.  Work Meisters really set it off well…a classic wheel that never gets old.  The Z32 Twin Turbo was truly ahead of it’s time, and even though it’s been nearly 20 years since it first debuted, I think the overall styling of the car remains clean and fresh, and not outdated.  I’ll update the pics once the seats are installed !

And for those that didn’t get the title of this post, here is the commercial that it’s from…..I believe it only ran one time during the 1990 Superbowl – and directed by Ridley Scott (pretty cool!)
