Picked up Season 10 of Top Gear on DVD, and in Episode 4, the guys take a trip in Botswana. The idea was to take a 1500 quid car from one end of Botswana to the other. The trip included transversing the worlds largest salt flat (wider than Portugal they said!), and some awfully horrible roads. Since light weight is the name of the game, to avoid the car “sinking”, Clarkson dubbed his Lancia Beta the “Superleggera”. In short, the car was an absolute mess. A royal POS of the first order.
