Customer’s set of wheels we ordered.
How clean are these?
Some pretty damn good concavity for a 19 x8.5 with a +45 offset if I may say so myself.
First one I’ve seen up close as not too many people are willing to drop the cash for this thing. Luckily one of our customers stepped up to the plate and did. Rare enough piece for me to take pictures of it.
Laugh if you will but ask yourself this; is your power steering reservoir dual “chambered” to remove bubbles formed when your power steering fluid boils (think drifting)? I bet it isn’t. 🙂
Unfortunately, some swaggerless shop is going to copy this guide and use it on their website. Remember where you saw this copy first!

I don’t like to post stuff off of other blogs (this picture is from the Voltex blog) but I felt like posting this.
Here in the states we call these fender flares and I saw a very similar looking set in aisle three at autozone.
I’d like to see where Voltex is going with these before I form my opinion.
HAHAHA!
I’d say I’m thinking this exact statement or something to this effect a great majority of the time. I’m grabbing one of these as soon as they are available.

Posting this up for a friend. I will say this is a very good looking wheel. Click below for the press release.
Dayton OH, July 15, 2009 – The dawn of a new mesh wheel has launched! This timeless design brings elegance and luxury while maintaining a sporty image to any vehicle. Of course, just like any FORGELINE wheel; this wheel retains our state-of-the-art forging technology utilizing 6061-T6 aluminum centers, 6061-T6 spun rim halves and stainless steel aircraft-grade fasteners. Standard features consist of a painted or chrome finish with a polished or chrome lip. The main showcase of this newly designed wheel is that over half the fasteners are hidden! With a wide array of fully customizable features; FORGELINE can offer custom offsets and different finishes to fit your specific profile. The DE3P will be available in 18, 19 and 20 inch diameters while the DE3S (Step Lip Version) will be only available in 19 and 20 inch diameters.
So Adam struck gold last week when the homey Logan over at Work Wheels USA informed him that he had found an extra VS-TX in the exact size, offset and color that Adam is running on the rear of his car. Normally this wouldn’t really be a big deal but when your rocking wheels that have been discontinued for going on two years its “major win!” Nothing like rolling on a set of discontinued wheels on New York streets and having a flawless back-up plan just in case your wheels lose the war against the Belt Parkway.
I wish Logan would had found a complete set of four, I would have been all over them! I love these wheels!
Logan, Adam and I are trying to figure out a way to mount this fifth wheel on the back of Adam’s Z to replicate that old-school Caddy look.
By the way if you haven’t peeped Logan’s blog yet you better have a good reason, like you just busted out of coma or something. 🙂 Click and enjoy my fellow Work aficionados… Logan’s New Blog
