A sneak peek of what Kevin has been up to…

2 Jan

… new MCR Hood installed.

I’d like to take this hot second to publicly let Kevin know as I have already on the phone that I LOVE the new direction you are going with your car and I know it will be badass when everything is said and done. You are now allowed to bring your car back around my neighborhood without me chastising you. 🙂

*** These are rough pictures by the way as the car was and is still in progress when these pictures were taken***

No, this isn’t Kevin in the car in this picture

Beautiful car. Is your 350Z an HR motor? I can’t tell whether it is an 06 with DE or 07-08 w/ HR from the pictures. I know both have same redesign front bumper and headlights. Gotta love those Volks TE37 black wheels. What is you wheels and tires setup? Also, do you get a chance to weight the MCR hood? Is it dry carbon? How well does the hood fit any adjustment or modification?

The hood is FRP, so lighter than stock, but without the insane price of a dry carbon piece. Needed a touch of tweaking to get it to line up perfectly, but nothing major.

    Replying late:

My car is an 2004. The hood was about 99% perfect fitment out of the box. The only modification I had to do was to widen the mounting holes so I could slide it over to the side more.

The Hood was considerable lighter than the stock hood.

Voboy- I did simplify it =) In my own way of course. I sold off my CF hatch, A Pillars, Roof and Gold LE37s for a Blitz Wing, and Gunmetal LE37s. Soon I will be selling my custom powder coated Stoptechs for something a bit different.

My seats were also swapped from the Red Ergos to the All Black Limited Ed Cugas.

All this couldn’t be possible without Kwame and Adam.
