Another Shop Car – Billy’s 1977 280Z
22 OctHere is Billy’s (one of our Chief Mechanics at the shop) 1977 280z. This car has a lot of history behind it and it was rebuilt from the ground up at the shop by Billy himself. I personally am not a yellow type guy but this color suits Billy’s personality to a tee. We have no idea how much power its currently putting down but I can assure you its plenty fast as it stands. Here are some of the modifications he currently has on the car that I can remember.
- Custom T3/T4 Turbo Kit
- Electromotive TEC 3 Standalone ecu
- HKS Front Mount Intercooler
- HKS BOV
- Bride XAX II seats
- Bosch injectors
- Bosch Motorsports Fuel Pump
- Enkei mesh wheels (no idea their name – anyone know?)
- Full Urethane Lip kit
- Fiberglass hood with cowl
- Fiberglass fenders
- 4 piston front calipers
and much much more that I am forgetting. Sorry If my descriptions are to vague. I will do my best to update this post with more accurate information when i get a chance. Anywho onto the pictures…
Old School to New School
16 OctHere is a sneak peak of Adam’s 280z build that he/we has/have been working on for some time now. We just recently got around to finally installing his custom AP Racing Big Brake Kit. It’s a one-off set that consists of 330mm rotors and six-piston calipers. The entire kit was pieced together by Adam himself (I doubt AP is getting many requests in for six-piston BBKs for 1979 280Zs 🙂 )
The entire car is almost near completion so stay tuned for more updates. For now, pay no mind to the dust 🙂
Edit: Here is another older picture of this car, just so you can a better idea of what it looks like. I took this picture like three years ago so please excuse the lack of photography skills.
