The Rare JDM Aluminum Under Panel is a direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM plastic piece that easily breaks and flexes during normal use. The main panel is made of 6061 aluminum, and side panels are 5053 aluminum. Even weighing in at 5.4 lbs., the Rare JDM Aluminum Uunder Panel provides added protection to the underside of the vehicle, and more specifically the oil pan.Our Aluminum Under Panel was designed with a removable access panel, allowing for oil drain plug and oil filter access, without the need to remove the entire under panel. I saw someone make mention on my350z.com about Jay Bryan posting on the Tochigi Prefecture’s NISMO Z33 back in December of ’07 on his old “Dropjay” blog but he has since taken it down so I do not know how much of this material is repetitive.

The bushes are a very compliant hydraulic filled rubber bush that permits squirming of the rear end under bump/turn/acceleration.
