Lancer Ralliart Cat-Back Exhaust System – Part No. LRA-CBE

The Lancer Ralliart is built on the same chassis as the Evolution X, just because of it lower price point we did not want to offer a lesser exhaust for the great platform. Our goal was Sound, Looks and Power. This means being able to keep exhaust note tolerable and exhaust gas velocity high. The result is true High Performance Stainless Steel 3 inch exhaust system that is polished to a show quality from the flange to our muffler which has been complimented with blue heat treated tips. Expect 6-10 whp from the catback and 30-40 whp with full turboback.

Lancer Ralliart Front Pipe (Downpipe) (LRA-FP)

The Lancer Ralliart Front Pipe was designed to remove the 1st catalytic converter. This will free up the majority of your horsepower gains. Simply installing this bolt on part you will see a gain of 15+whp. As an additional upgrade we offer the ability to use our 2nd o2 sensor bung for your wideband 02 sensor.

Lancer Ralliart Cat-Pipe (LRA-CP)

COBB Tuning announces the immediate availability of the 3” FP Turbo Inlet Hose for the Mitsubishi EVO X. The COBB Tuning 3” FP Turbo Inlet Hose is designed for use with Forced Performance 3″ turbos. The bulge design of the COBB Inlet Hose increases the cross-section to 3.5” to maximize air flow delivered directly to your 3″ Forced Performance turbocharger, providing much more efficient power and response. The smooth inner walls of the COBB Turbo Inlet taper gradually at both ends and reduce the air turbulence that occurs in the factory accordion style inlet.

The COBB 3” FP Turbo Inlet Hose is constructed using four plies steel-reinforced silicone, eliminating the issue of hose collapse that other inlet pipes suffer while under suction at peak demand. While the steel reinforcement provides excellent stability, the silicone allows adequate torsional flex, allowing engine movement on the OEM engine mounts under hard acceleration without risk of separation.

Available in COBB Blue or Stealth Black, this system uses all factory fittings and clamps.

New Titanium Brake Shims!!!

We just had the first batch of titanium shims done and they are ready to go. It’s a relatively cheap piece of added insurance for those track guys out there who have been running into the issue of cooking their brakes.

The current applications available are for the Subaru STi, Subaru 4-pot calipers, Mitusbishi EVO, Hyundai  Genesis Coupe (track edition),  and the Nissan 350Z. Additional applications for aftermarket calipers such as the Stoptech ST-40, Stoptech ST-60 and Endless calipers are under development and will be released soon.

MSRP is $100 but we are working out package deals with fluid, pads and/or lines. Let us know if you are interested in a set and for combo pricing!

COBB Tuning announces the immediate availability of the COBB Limited Edition 3” SS Cat Back Exhaust for the
Mistubishi EVO X. This direct replacement cat back exhaust boasts 304 stainless steel construction, a custom
high-flow straight-through muffler design and impressive exhaust note. Limited to a production run of just 50
units, this beautifully fabricated exhaust will not be available for long.
Significant attention was devoted to the packaging of this exhaust. Tubing diameter was increased to 3” and
bends were kept to a minimum with large radii for optimum flow characteristics. Fitment was extensively worked
to ensure maximum ground clearance to accommodate cars with very low ride heights. Designed as a direct
replacement for the factory cat back exhaust, it uses all of the stock mounting points and is compatible with the
factory cat pipe as well as the previously released COBB High Flow Cat Pipe.
The unique muffler in this exhaust is custom designed for this application and features an internal “Y” to provide
maximum straight through flow from a transversely mounted muffler. This design allows much higher flow rates
than typical EVO X chambered transverse mufflers which significantly increase backpressure and limit total power
output.
Potent performance need not attract the attention of over-zealous law enforcement. Despite the superior flow
characteristics of the COBB EVO X Cat Back exhaust, it still conforms to strict SAE sound emission requirements
of 95 decibels, even when paired with the COBB EVO X Downpipe and COBB EVO X Cat Pipe. The twin oval tips
are positioned to mimic the factory set-up and follow the lines of the rear bumper cover, giving a purposeful yet
subtle look.
The COBB Limited Edition 3” SS Cat Back Exhaust for the EVO X offers unmatched performance, OEM fitment,

Got an email last week from someone who bought our old Galant VR4!  I got this car back around 1999 from the original owner.  I was in my rally phase at this point and already had a 2.5 RS and All Trac Turbo Celica.  A good friend of mine had a modded GVR4 at the time, and I always loved the sleeper nature of the car.  We did lots of work to it over the years and eventually I gave the car to Jonathan…who continued to mod it.  We sold that car back in 2005 to someone in Ohio as I recall.  The first few pics are the car in it’s present state, the last 2 are before we sold it, circa 2004.

Fast forward to 2009 and it looks like she has a new home.  From the message I got, the car is now living down in Florida, and undergoing a full makeover, from body to power upgrades.  The new owner is looking for around 700 hp!
