Championship Winning 380RS-C

25 Dec

The 380RS-C was a NISMO factory, built to order race car. While unseen on these shores, several teams took the ~$400,000 plunge when it was released, in order to effectively compete in the Super Taikyu Series. While the car itself is 5+ years old at this point, it is still extremely competitive. So much so that Endless took the championship in the ST-1 Class for 2012 (beating 2 BMW Z4-M’s and a Porsche 997). Not too shabby for an old timer!

Branching Out

Prova Engineering is a familiar name among Subaru enthusiasts, but did you know they also are involved in several other marques on the motorsport side of things?

Some examples – BYOUBUGAURA Z33. This is why the genuine stuff is always best. Note the full INGS Aero kit. The same kit you can buy for your own Z. You may not be running your car in Super Taikyu, or even SCCA Club Events, but there is a certain pride that comes in knowing that the same parts you have grace real race cars around the world. We don’t look at this as an excuse to treat yourself and your car with the best, but rather, a reason to.

M&M campaigns this 380RS in the Super Taikyu series – I wish I could find more engine bay pics, but so far, this is all I could come up with.

One of the several Z33’s that ran in the 2008 Super Taikyu season, ST3 class.  This car sports a full INGS Aero kit (love it!) and built and maintained by Tomei Sports.
