New AEM Recirculation Style Water / Meth Pump, K-Type Thermocouple, & Brass Pressure Sensors

26 Aug

AEM Performance Electronics has released a new water injection pump, brass boost sensor kits, and a K-Type Thermocoupler
Recirculation-Style Water/Methanol Injection Pumps

AEM Performance Electronics announces the release of a running upgrade to their Water/Methanol Injection Kits. This new recirculation-style pump offers more consistent flow at higher line pressures across its entire delivery curve to ensure maximum atomization for increase air charge cooling and combustion control/efficiency on forced induction gas and diesel engines. This new pump design now comes standard in every AEM Water/Methanol Injection Kit or can be purchased as a separate upgrade for existing systems. AEM’s recirculation-style pump offers improved performance, reliability and a much smoother, quieter operation when compared to older switched-style pumps. With the use of a new internal bypass design, AEM’s upgraded pump eliminates the erratic on and off switching/pulsing and ensures consistent fluid delivery for optimum performance. With durability and reliability in mind, AEM has designed the pump with a Santoprene diaphragm and EPDM seals to withstand the harshest of alcohol mixes. View the old / new pump comparison video below.

AEM Brass Sensor Kits

AEM Performance Electronics has expanded its line of pressure sensors to include a line of high quality brass pressure sensors at an affordable price. Each sensor kit includes a brass pressure sensor and standard 3-pin weatherproof flying lead connector. All sensor connections are 1/8” NPT. These new sensor offer a lower price alternative to the AEM Stainless Steel pressure sensors (30-2130). These new brass sensors are a less expensive alternative for the budget minded crowd. AEM would still recommend their stainless steel sensors for anyone with a higher-end build or race car that requires that level of accuracy and durability.

K-Type Thermocouple & Wiring Extension Kit

AEM Performance Electronics introduces a new rugged K-Type thermocouple at an affordable price. The K-Type thermocouples have a 12” flying lead with standard ring terminals for easy connection. A stainless steel compression mount is also included with each thermocouple. The thermocouple extension kit includes 10’ of thermocouple wire terminated with standard ring terminal connections at one end for easy connection to the K-Type thermocouple. The other end is terminated with the AEM Electronics 3-pin sensor connector for easy connection to a wide variety of AEM Performance Electronics products.

Clean S15

25 Aug

These cars just always look modern and fresh to me. A gorgeous shape that I think will age really well. Too bad they never brought them here legally!

I’m really over the whole exposed carbon thing for big body panels, but paint the hood to match and I’d rock this car in a hearbeat as it sits. This ones got some nice mods performed by Top Secret, including their 2.2 stroker kit and HKS GT-RS turbo.

Love what they have done with the car. The paint/graphics scheme is hardcore, retro and modern at the same time – love it!

The cornerstone of Endless Japan is their amazing brake pad and fluids. Sure, they do badass big brake kits too, but it all begins with fundamentals. Endless is one of the few firms out there to offer the exact same product to their street customers as they do to their most elite motorsport customers.

Take the Endless RF650 Brake Fluid. The very same fluid sold here at Z1, is the same fluid used by the Brawn F1 Team (current leaders of the Constructors Championship). Pretty cool stuff!

As an added bonus, buy a minimum of 4 bottles at one time, and get a Free Endless/Brawn F1 Poster! Offer expires September 30, 2009

Another extravagant 350z build.

I’m digging the exterior (minus all the LEDS) with the clean body kit and the Weds and what not. The rear hatch is once again a bit excessive for my taste but at least when the LEDS are off I’m sure its more tolerable than that the other Z I posted yesterday. The headliner is bleh… but whoever did the hatch did it clean and for that it is blog worthy (in my opinion of course).

I don’t get the gauges facing the rear though… Or the excessive use of LEDs. LEARN WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH PEOPLE!!!

We’re One!

We’re always on the lookout for awesome cars that are a bit off the beaten path, hit us up and let us know! By the same token, if there is ever a topic you want us to cover, say the word.

Thanks once again!

We blogged this car earlier here.

Well it has been recently been updated with a Voltex kit. It looks alright (I’m not very happy with Voltex at the moment as they are taking forever to ship us a kit for customer).

A bit much…

20 Aug

I guess I’m just missing that “show car” taste on my palate. I can respect the time put into everything from a labor aspect.

This is a bit much for me, but perhaps some will like it.

I mean, how are you not nervous just sitting in the seats with amps right underneath the soles of your feet?
